I used Scott as a buyer’s agent for the purchase of an investment property. This is not my first investment property so I have experience with other buyer brokers and I can honestly say Scott has been the best.
Our relationship started when Scott was willing to send me an update of available properties on a weekly basis and with no commitment to purchase anything, provided on-going information on properties and the market. When I finally found the property I thought was right, Scott did all the market research needed to project a fair market value. He then took control of the negotiations with the seller and the seller's broker and Scott maintained a fair but aggressive approach that resulted in a contract price that I was very happy with.
Scott's team then took over the due diligence with a team of qualified vendors/contractors and kept everyone on schedule. After the inspections we decided that a reduction in the price was necessary. Once again Scott took charge of the negotiations with an aggressive approach and once again the final price that Scott was able to negotiate exceeded my expectations.
With all the value that Scott brought to this transaction, what I respected most about him is that I truly believe that throughout the process, he was looking out for my best interest and was willing to recommend actions that were in my best interest, even if it meant losing the sale.

Over the years, Lori and I have dealt with a number of real estate people when either selling or buying various properties. When selling a property, the typical real estate agent's normal activities involve the creation of MARKETING materials (various newspaper ads, trade journel ads, mailings, a virtual tour, a "For Sale" sign, a brochure with a few pictures and the basic property information, the MLS listing, a summary of the number of "hits" on the web, etc.). Our experience has been that few agents actually engage in SELLING a property to prospective clients, other than suggesting that the listed property price be reduced, then further reduced, and so on.
It was a genuine pleasure to experience the CHANGE that Marc Langefeld and Scott Korbin presented to us on the sale of our townhouse. Our first meeting involved a discussion of our objectives and priorities, with very frank comments on how realistic these were.
